What is lifestile ? Lifestile is there to help people climb over the 'stile' of life. We will help people through problems to help them help themselves (using community development) in the journey of where are, where we are going and how are we going to get there. Lifestile is small Newcastle upon Tyne based charity (1100898) that are working on a number of projects and innovative ideas. We believe that community development is about developing the community. If it does not develop the community, then it is not community development. The workers are not discussing issues, they are engaged in facilitating the development, The other aspect is to develop support projects for people in the community that do not have a voice, and to come up with new development ideas. You can see our proposed projects here. We have a wide range of proposals. The proposals include internet based projects and other ones Some will be started, some will not. It all depends on support from volunteers to set them up and manage progress. |

What help is lifestile asking for ?? If you are part of community organisation and go to meetings, courses, conferences, then send us your opinions. We will publish all we can on either this site, or our project sites. (such as povertyscape or joomlalegacy.info). Lifestile also is developing a new community development tool to develop the individual and groups. The draft document for this can be seen on the newcen site here .
